Wall to Wall Carpet Cleaning

When the Central Carpet Doctor is on the job we pre-treat your carpets with a non-toxic cleaning agent that suspends the soil so it can be easily removed. Our powerful cleaning system rinses carpet fibres of dirt and other contaminates leaving your carpet fresh, clean, and PH neutral. Neutralizing the PH of the carpet fibre and removing cleaning residues is an important step that greatly reduces re-soiling. Carpets are usually dry in 5 to 6 hours.

Pet odors in carpets and area rugs can present a serious problem. Not only is the foul odor noxious, but these can also pose a serious health hazard. In light to moderate cases we can often neutralize these through our regular cleaning procedures combined with specialized solutions that can eliminate bacteria and leave a pleasant fragrance. In extreme cases though, where staining covers more than 20% of the surface area of the carpet, the only effective solution may be replacing the carpet and underlay and sanitizing the sub floor.

Furniture Cleaning

Over time, air born dust and dirt accumulates in furniture fibres that can result in a dull appearance where colors seem to fade. Our cleaning procedures which are similar to carpet extraction, uses a pre-treatment which results in vibrant color restoration. Pet hair, dander and odors that accumulate over time are completely eliminated, leaving vibrant colors in furniture fabrics rejuvenated. After our cleaning process is complete, furniture is usually dry within 2 to 3 hours.

Fabric Protection

The Central Carpet Doctor recommends using a fabric protector such as 3M Scotchgard to extend the time between professional cleanings of your precious carpet and furniture. 3M Scotchgard or DuPont Teflon protectors create a coating or barrier between your fabric’s fibres and dirt. This also makes it easier for you to remove more soil during your regular vacuuming and cleaning tasks. Applying a fabric protector after each professional cleaning will also extend the life of your furniture and carpets, saving you money in the long run.

Area Rug Cleaning

Over time, wool area rugs become a magnet for tiny dry particulates that don’t come out during the regular vacuuming cycle and make your rugs look aged and faded. The most important part of area rug cleaning is the removal of these dry particulates that don’t come out during your regular vacuuming routine. These particulates amount to a fine powder similar to a talc powder that gets deeply embedded in the wool and needs to be removed before complete cleaning is started.

We pick up your wool area rugs and our process removes all this dry particulate from them. After this step, we thoroughly wash your area rugs and let them hang to air dry. They are then placed in hygienic plastic and delivered back to you clean and fresh with their original brilliant color and brightness.

Tile/Grout Cleaning and Sealing

As time rolls along, soil, oils and grime builds up on your tile and grout which is not easily removed. This can be a time consuming tedious job that often yields unsatisfactory results. Our high powered hot water cleaning system combined with state of the art cleaning solutions refurbish grout and removes dark staining that penetrates it over time. Once the grout has been restored it is recommended that we apply a grout sealer to make future cleaning faster and easier for you.
